We built a SaaS — then the company we served bought it.
We built a CRM platform — GoHighLevel at the core, extended with heavy custom Next.js and Postgres development — for the field-marketing network behind a crypto project. We were selling it to that network as a SaaS, until the company behind the project decided they wanted it for themselves: they acquired the platform to give their network as a free tool. It sold at a 10x multiple.
